BK Cult Syrah 2010 - Adelaide Hills, Australia

Deep red ink with ruby edging. Aromas lead with tar, blueberry compote and leather/smoke. There is really nice balance to this wine making it accessible now. The fruits cascade over the palate including stewed raspberry and savoury quince. Another excellent Syrah from the BK winery. A$32/bottle

  1. Hi, found your blog through a link from Chris Plummer's Good to see you're a BK fan - likewise. Amazing wines for the price - especially considering they're made with such love. Look forward to seeing your reviews.

  2. Thanks Stu. You are spot on with the BK wines! I was blown away by his Mclaren Vale "Mazi" Syrah. The production from memory was only 30 or 40 dozen which makes it harder to track down but worth the effort!
