Foxes Island Pinot Noir 2006 - Marlborough, New Zealand
Faded brick red. The nose is dominated by clove/spice. The palate is a fruit cocktail of cherry/blueberry and overripe strawberries. The finish has long spice and good acidity however the alcohol (13.5%) seems to bring a warmth.
