La Chablisienne Chablis 1ER Cru Cote De Lechet 2008 - Chablis, France
Pale golden with apple green tinge. The nose is chalky with lemon juice aromas. There is clearly a big whack of oak used in this Chablis which detracts from the fruit quality. The acidity is tangy but the oak has taken control. A nice Chardonnay but Chablis purists will be a touch disappointed from this Premier Cru. A$59.99/bottle
