Bream Creek Schonburger 2007 - Tasmania (no region identified), Australia

Developed golden colour in the glass. Aromas of marmalade, crushed ant and candied fruits. The palate has some richness giving shape like a condrieu white. Ripe apricot and creme cheese fill the palate with  a balance fresh acidity to finish. A$24.99/bottle

Bream Creek pioneered this German variety in Australia and with no experience of tasting Schonburger in it's homeland, it is hard to say whether this wine reflects origin. A lovely white to drink, enough said.
